Design Story & Atmosphere
Hundreds of tiny five-pointed blooms create a cool blue haze—minimal in palette, wonderfully textural, and both dreamy and contemporary.
❀ Flower Materials
Fresh blue tweedia, also called blue star flower (Oxypetalum coeruleum or Tweedia caerulea), with its natural leaves and clean hand-tied presentation.
❀ Flower Meaning
Blue tweedia is associated with trust, serenity, faithful affection, and the courage to pursue something heartfelt.
❀ Fragrance
Very light and clean, with little noticeable perfume.
❀ Allergy & Pet Safety
Tweedia releases a milky latex sap that may irritate skin and eyes and should not be swallowed. It may be harmful to pets if chewed. Wear gloves if sensitive, wash after recutting, and keep stems and vase water away from children and animals.
❀ Expected Vase Life
About 5–7 days in clean water; delicate florets may fade gradually rather than all at once.
❀ Care Guide
Recut 1–2 cm from every stem at an angle, remove foliage below the waterline, and use a clean vase with fresh water and flower food. Replace the water every one to two days, remove fading blooms, and display in a cool place away from direct sun, heat, draughts, ripening fruit, children, and pets.
