Design Story & Atmosphere
Cloud-like double lilies form a luminous white centre, while slender trailing greenery softens the grey wrapping. The composition feels hushed, elegant, and deeply comforting—an appropriate floral gesture when words feel insufficient.
❀ Flower Materials
Double white Oriental lilies, unopened lily buds, trailing ruscus-style foliage, seasonal greenery, grey presentation wrap, and a soft grey ribbon.
❀ Flower Meaning
White lilies are associated with restored innocence, peace, dignity, and the enduring purity of a loved one’s memory. Their upward-facing form also conveys hope and spiritual reassurance.
❀ Fragrance
Oriental lilies can release a noticeable sweet floral fragrance, especially as more buds open. Scent intensity varies by cultivar and room temperature; place the bouquet in a ventilated area if anyone is fragrance-sensitive.
❀ Allergy & Pet Safety
Lily pollen and fragrance may trigger sensitivity in some people. True lilies (Lilium species) are extremely toxic to cats; petals, leaves, pollen, stems, and even vase water can cause life-threatening poisoning. Keep completely away from cats. Dogs may also develop gastrointestinal upset if plant material is eaten.
❀ Expected Vase Life
Approximately 7–10 days with fresh water and cool conditions; individual buds may continue opening over several days.
❀ Care Guide
Trim 1–2 cm from the stems at an angle, remove foliage below the waterline, use a clean vase, and refresh the water every one to two days. Keep away from direct sun, heat, ripening fruit, and all pets. Carefully remove visible pollen anthers as blooms open to reduce staining and airborne pollen.
